Today marks the first competitive day of the 2009 drum corps season. I was able to reach out to my contacts around DCI and obtain this promo video showing what we can expect from the top drumlines this summer.

I’ll admit, I was at first skeptical of allowing electronic instruments, but you can now consider me a believer!!

Yes/No People + Holy Sunrising

This video originally aired on HBO in the late 80’s. The Yes/No People was founded by Luke Creswell (who also created STOMP) which explains all the improvised instrument choices. In case you didn’t catch it from the title, you’ll also see members of the ‘87 Sunrisers and Cadets appearing randomly throughout the video.
