Haha. Anyone else experience the phenomenon where their instructor picked the drum equipment to use because they were similar to their own name? I had drum tech Mr. Evans. He liked to use Evans heads. I had another instructor named Mark. He liked ProMark stuff. Coincidence? I think not!

Drums consist of at least one membrane, called a drumhead or drum skin, that is stretched over a shell and struck, either directly with the player’s hands, or with a drumstick, to produce sound.
