This looks like something straight out of Dr. Seuss’ Whoville…

Thanks, Matt!

  • This was a PBS production, I believe. Or, at least, that’s where I first saw it. Very cool cool stuff, and there’s alot more of it. I know of about 20 different pieces they’ve done of this style. All very interesting, and well worth the time taken to check them out.

  • It is in fact from a 2-volume (soon to be 3!) collection called Animusic (as seen on PBS stations). It’s all computer animations triggered by MIDI. This one is names “Pipe Dream”, but there are others like “Drum Machine” and “Gyro Drums” that heavily involve percussion. It’s well worth the DVD purchases, but they have plenty of teaser vids over at www.animusic.com.

  • Woah! I’m really enjoying the template/theme of this website. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s very difficult to get that “perfect balance” between user friendliness and visual appeal. I must say you have done a superb job with this. In addition, the blog loads super fast for me on Chrome. Exceptional Blog!
