Yellow Drum Machine
This guy is all I’d ever want in a household pet and a little more.
Here’s his basic thought process:
Crawl around, scout for an area with a playable surface (preferably flat), scoot into place, play a basic beat checking to see if it has a “good sound,” then make a sample he can then play over top of.
R2-D2 eat your heart out.

The future of drum corps?
You made tremendous great ideas there. I made a search on the topic and noticed almost all peoples will agree with your blog. These almost always take batteries, which is one downfall, as they can go through them fast.

Hi Fritz, the yellow drum machine is pretty cool!!! I’m doing research for my lad who is 12 and mad about electronics, and in turn building robots. I was checking out “let’s make robots” and you have a basic robot that costs $110, do you think many of the components could be reused. Reason I ask is we are on a budget and he seems to enjoy building them more than playing with them. Regards Joe
so the robots life purpose is the same as mine?
