I have a problem with two things the dude said in the first video

1) “You rarely hear experimental jazz music played on a single instrument”

Yeah. Neither do you normally hear ANY kind of jazz music played on a single instrument.

2)”…because it [the piano] does often play a large and crucial part”

Once again, not exactly true. Ornette Coleman (one of the originators of free jazz) actually omitted the piano from his group because the chords it was playing were IRRELEVANT.

That’s all I got. I challenge the to put up a video on how to play drums or anything drum-related. We’ll roast them on a spit.
