DCI 2009 w/ Electronic Instruments Sneak Preview

Today marks the first competitive day of the 2009 drum corps season. I was able to reach out to my contacts around DCI and obtain this promo video showing what we can expect from the top drumlines this summer.

I’ll admit, I was at first skeptical of allowing electronic instruments, but you can now consider me a believer!!

My band used tha GEMS last year. We got 1st place in percuson at every show~!!!1!~ I like sounds 43 and 34 the best. Maykes me excited.

At first I did a double take because I thought they were talking about electronics in the front line. Then I watched the video. That is the stupidest thing I’ve even seen. What has Roland done??? Why would DCI allow this atrocity? I hope I NEVER see this in WGI. Ever heard of giving real instruments to the racktard?
