One of the funniest judges tapes I heard was back in High School. Our school Warsaw was known for having a good drumline. I was in the brassline at the time and we were listening to a brass or horn tape or whatever and as soon as the show opened for a few seconds you just hear the brass judge say “Great Drumline Warsaw”. The band director (trumpet player) wasn’t amused.
Hahaha…We had a guy from Carolina Crown that wanted to marry our bassline and have us do clinics. lol.

When I marched indoor of course when things are loud and inside they have to yell and then when it’s soft the have to go back to whisper mode. But, I remember this one tape a judge was like “YES BASSES! YES YES YES YES YES!!! GIVE IT TO ME BASSES! YES!!!” and it was during a loud part..but on that last yes..we hit a grand pause..it was a tad hard for any of us to not burst out laughing..
one can respond to almost every single clip with…”thats what she said”… ;D
My band director says he uses this to “fuel” his anger for my top band class in order to motivate us to be better.He played this during our class the dat after we got state runner up and we thought it was our band until the band started performing and then our director was laughing so hard he almost fell off of his stool backwards!!!!!!!!!!
