many people have asked what he is judging. to the best of my abilities I have determined he is judging GE. although in most circuits there would be a percussion GE and a field (or color guard) GE judge. but even if it was GE you should only mention colors once or twice and actually say how it adds to the show, plus the fact that “they are a tall band” should never be mention in a GE tape. finally (although people feel differently about this) you should always say you, never we or us, cause the person judging is not in the band. anyway it’s still a horrible tape, and 98% of judges are WAY better than this.

p.s. to “e” several groups have used clips of his recordings and put it to their show as an inside joke. however he has never judge a world class competition, and hopefully never will.

in fairness to a few posters I’m sure he was a great director but he is not a good judge. secondly I would love to know how many other tapes of him are out there. this was obviously a competiton with several groups. I wonder if any other person keep his recordings from that day. it would be really hilarious to hear some more.

He now works as a court bailiff in Lubbock. If you break the law in Lubbock, they make you spend 30 days in the county jail, listening to his tapes.
